Updated pricing model and price list

The key principles of Wiiste's updated pricing model are simplicity and ease of management from both the customer's and supplier's point of view. In addition to this, we also want to ensure that all of our customers’ different applications receive equal treatment.

Most significant changes:

  • The monthly fee per sensor will no longer be applied (IoT sensors)
  • The Relia cloud service will be free of charge for the first 12 months
  • After the first 12 months, the monthly fee for the Relia cloud service applies to all projects, regardless of the sensor type
  • The monthly fee will be based on the number of sensors used in the project
  • Monthly payments are invoiced in advance in six-month periods.

Going forward, the costs for the first year of each project will only include the sensor costs.

End customer prices remain at the same level

The shortage of components in the field of electronics and the resulting increases in costs have also affected Wiiste extensively. However, simultaneous production efficiency measures and increased volumes have allowed us to maintain our prices for end customers at the same level as previously.

The pricing model had to be updated due to an increase in volumes of delivered sensors, data volumes and the popularity of IoT sensors, as well as the different applications required by our customers.

We have launched a major development project for the Relia cloud service. The new and improved system, which will be launched during 2022, will serve our customers and meet their needs at a completely new level.

As a consequence of the new features enabled by the upcoming version, we will be offering separate business and enterprise level pricing models for Relia.

Validity and transitional period

The price list will enter into force on 1 October 2021, and is valid until further notice.

Transitional period:

The data charges for IoT sensors will remain the same until 31 December 2021. After this, customers will be billed in accordance with the Relia cloud service price list, and the fees for each project will be charged in advance in six-month periods.

If contract periods have been paid for in advance, the contract will continue under the same conditions until the end of the current contract period.

For projects that only include sensors with reading devices, the transitional period will last until 30 June 2022. However, the period will still last a minimum pf 12 months (for projects opened between 1 July 2021 and 30 September 2021). After this, projects will be billed on a on a project-by-project basis in advance in six-month periods in accordance with the Relia cloud service price list.

Even if the customer does not want to continue using the paid service after the transitional period ends, the data will not be deleted from the system immediately. The data will be archived and can still be viewed in the Relia cloud service for at least three months. It is no longer possible to update the project with new data without ordering a new, paid version of the service.

New user agreement

The terms and conditions for Wiiste’s service have been updated. The new terms will take effect on 11 October 2021.

The conditions have been updated especially due to certain special features related to the use of IoT sensors (WAN) and the new pricing model. We have also clarified some sections regarding the processing of personal data.
