Wiiste wood moisture meters in use in the largest CLT residential building in the Netherlands

Our customer De Groot Vroomshoop, part of VolkerWessels, the second largest construction company in the Netherlands, has been using Wiiste wood moisture meters (IoT) since 2020 to ensure the moisture safety of wooden buildings.

The M'DAM wooden apartment building is the largest residential building in the Netherlands, built almost entirely of CLT (cross-laminated timber). All 62 apartments are almost entirely factory-built.

Completed in Rotterdam in June 2020, the all-wood school Het Epos features the ability to be easily dismantled, moved or extended.

Wiiste wood moisture meters are still in use in both projects.
